WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP WITH OUR WORK
Would you like to donate towards helping our work?Choices and Rights has always had the policy that we would not get involved in street collections or fundraising campaigns as we believe that disabled people should not be dependent on Charity, and activities such as these portray disabled people in a negative light. This means that we have developed all of our services through applying for grants and bidding for contracts for service
However, if people recognise and support the work that we do and wish to make a donation towards our running costs, we believe that this will help us with deliver high quality services to disabled people.
We do have high running costs and this is because:
All our services are free to disabled people
We will always ring disabled people back if requested to save them the cost of phone calls
Wherever possible, we will endeavour to meet people's access needs to use our services, including information in different formats, physical access to buildings and communication support.
Examples of our costs
Our average yearly postal bill is over £2000
Our average yearly phone bill is: £1600
Production of each issue of our newsletter costs: £400
To meet the costs of disabled peoples access needs at our annual conference costs £5000
If you would like to make a donation, you can now do this via the Pay Pal button or of you prefer, can send a cheque made payable to Choices and Rights Disability Collation. We guarantee that any donation, no matter now big or small, will be spent on our providing services to disabled people and we do not use any professional fundraisers or send out unsolicited mailings. We have also signed up to the Fundraising Standards Board. More information about the Fundraising Standards Board can be found at http://www.frsb.org.uk/
